Samantha Peppard
Samantha founded Kora Commercial in 2026 to advise and grow the businesses of commercial brokerage agents and owners. AI-driven tools should empower agents and owners with increased market knowledge and presence at a reduced cost, which is what we strive for here at Kora Commercial.
Isis Luna
Isis joins Kora Commercial with 15yrs of real estate experience across NY, CA, and MI. She focuses primarily on commercial leasing market analysis and advising companies and entrepreneurs in the New York City and Michigan markets. Having closed hundreds of transactions in New York City and Los Angeles, partnering with a ranked Top 25 Agent in Manhattan and with the Theodore Roosevelt Family fund, Isis’ pedigree for discretion, honesty, and client dedication surpasses most.
Where the name “Kora” comes from.
Kora takes its name from the ancient Greek χώρα, originally spelled “chora,” which described the empty land surrounding the city of Alexandria.
The term was revived in 1985 through the unrealized design collaboration of philosopher Jacques Derrida and architect Peter Eisenman for a garden at Parc de la Villette in Paris. Inspired by Plato’s concept of chôra (or khôra) from the Timaeus, their design sought to merge deconstructivist philosophy with spatial architecture.
Chora came to mean a space, room, or interval between the sensible and intelligible realms — waiting to be filled.
